The film "The Woman in White," directed by Emmanuelle Mayer, reveals the untold story of Tamar Golan—a trailblazing journalist and diplomat who operated at critical security junctures and played a pivotal role in the signing of the peace treaty with Egypt. Through personal diaries and rare archival materials revealed here for the first time, the film highlights Tamar's alternative approach to diplomacy—rooted in human connection and emotion—and raises poignant questions regarding the social and security costs of women's absence from Israel's decision-making circles.
